The Week

The Week: All You Need to Know About Everything That Matters

The Week attempts to condense a week's worth of U.S. and world news and commentary into a lean, well-verse and well-written read. They largely succeed. "In just 40 pages, it will bring you up-to-date on what's happening at home and abroad, and what the experts are saying about it," says editor-in-chief William Falk.
Falk and his staff do a good job over covering all bases and abridging a variety of opinions and material. In the end, a time-pressed journalist like myself, who handles a performing arts portal ten to twelve hours a day, can catch up on lost general news in a matter of hours on the subway, bus or street.
